Although yoga is beneficial for the mind, body, and soul any time of the year, Core Focused Yoga is offered at Discovery Green with the final class of the season being September 6, 2016. Classes are held every Tuesday from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the Anheuser-Busch Stage and open to the public. Participants will learn and practice yoga postures that are designed to train the body for strength and flexibility and use dynamic flow sequences to get the body warm and the heart pumping, while long-held poses strengthen and stretch the muscles. This is an overall great workout that also provides a sense of relaxation and balance. To join in, simply show up with a yoga mat in hand and if you don’t have one, they can be purchased at the office between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
