For some of the best pizza in Houston, look no further than Romano’s Pizza Italian Restaurant. Despite the unassuming storefront, this Houston pizzeria serves up some of the best pies in the state. What’s their secret, you might ask? This local gem is owned and operated by cousins Vinny and Frank, who were born in Italy and worked in neighborhood pizza joints in New York City for more than a decade before opening up shop in H-Town. If these guys don’t know good pizza and pasta, we don’t know who does. If you’re thinking of going anywhere else for your next slice, you can fuggetabout it. Both locations are open Tuesday through Sunday, from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and closed on Mondays. Reservations are accepted for parties of six or more.
