Memorial Park Golf Course

1001 East Memorial Loop
Houston, TX 77007
(713) 559-2000
Ask any avid Houston golfer where he or she prefers to play, and you’re likely to hear the same answer: Memorial Park Golf Course. Host of the Houston Open for more than a decade (1951-1963), this historic course has attracted some of the game’s biggest names, including Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus. The 600-acre public course was revitalized in 1995, a renovation that included new putting greens, a lighted driving range and breathtaking clubhouse. Widely considered one of the best public courses in the entire country, and certainly the pride of Houston, Memorial Park draws an estimated 60,000 golfers annually. Of course, being situated in scenic Memorial Park doesn’t hurt either. A 2010 survey in the Houston Chronicle ranked Memorial Park as Houston’s best value course, the most walkable course and the best single’s course in the city. The course is closed on Tuesdays.
