Road Trip: New York & MiamiTonight the B-Straw & Pauly G Show traveled to New York & Miami in an NBA edition of the Road Trip. First they went to New York to talk to Marc Malusis, WFAN, about the possibility of Carmelo Anthony leaving the Knicks. Next they flew over to Miami to talk to Brian Rowitz, 106.3, about LeBron James and other players' futures with the Heat. He thinks that due to team loyalty, several of the players may stick around when many would move on to other teams. Rowitz discussed the importance of having a group of three big players on a team.
Road Trip: Cleveland & OaklandTonight the B-Straw & Pauly G Show Road Trip traveled to Cleveland and Oakland. First they spoke to Daryl Ruiter, 92.3 The Fan in Cleveland, about Johnny Manziel and the Browns. Ruiter thinks TMZ and other media are making too much of Manziel's behavior. He says Mike Pettine has said he is happy with Manziel on the field and doesn't want to micro manage his players off the field. Then they flew over to Oakland to speak to Michael Wagman, Silver & Black Illustrated, about their starting QB competition. He discussed the situation with Matt Schaub competing with Derek Carr for starting position. He said all the possible starting QBs with the teams are not looking too great so far but that is just in practice so far.
Road Trip: San AntonioAri Tempkin joined The B-Straw & Pauly G Show one more time on the Road Trip to discuss the Spur winning the NBA Finals against the Heat. He was very surprised by how easily the Spurs were able to win the series. Tempkin believes Tim Duncan is the most important player when it comes to how successful the Spurs have been able to be. He doesn't think any of the Spurs are going to leave yet, but he thinks after Tim Duncan leaves all bets are off. In any case, he says the Spurs have had quite a dynasty so far.
Road Trip: San AntonioTonight the B-Straw & Pauly G Show Road Trip traveled to San Antonio. They spoke to Andy Everett, WOAI 1200 AM, about the Spurs and Heat series. He talked about how important good defense is for the Spurs in this series. Everett thinks the strength of the guys on the Spurs bench have been a huge help to them so far. He said they need to limit the Heat's big stars in order to win the series.
Road Trip: Atlanta & CaliforniaThe B-Straw & Pauly G Show Road Trip went to Atlanta and California tonight. First they went to Atlanta and spoke to Carl Dukes, 92.9 The Game, about the Falcons. He talked about how the team is planning on working out offensive and defensive issues they had last season. Next they talked to Jon Solomon, CBSsports.com, on the on going Ed O'Bannon lawsuit. He discussed the most recent developments and what they will most likely mean for the NCAA and student athletes.
Road Trip: MiamiTonight the B-Straw & Pauly G Show Road Trip traveled to Miami. Brian Rowitz, ESPN 106.3 FM, came on to discuss the Heat and Spurs NBA Finals series in progress. He talked about how much better Game 2 went for LeBron than Game 1. Rowitz said Heat fans are feeling very confident heading into tomorrow's game because they feel overall the Heat has out performed the Spurs. The Spurs just seem unable to fully answer LeBron James on the court.
Road Trip: San AntonioTonight the B-Straw & Pauly G Show Road Trip traveled to San Antonio tonight. Ari Tempkin, ESPN 1250, joined them to discuss the Spurs beating the Heat in Game One of the series. Tempkin said that the air conditioning definitely impacted the game but it's hard to say how much credit that should get for the win. He thinks Danny Green's performance is one of the big things playing wise that is an important take away from the game. He described how uncomfortable it was last night at the game when the air conditioner was out. He thinks LeBron will come out much better in Game Two so the Spurs will really have to stay on their game.
Road Trip: MinneapolisTonight's B-Straw & Pauly G Show Road Trip traveled to Minneapolis. Judd Zugald, ESPN 1500, talked about the situation with Kevin Love and the Timberwolves. Zugald said the Timberwolves definitely have to trade Kevin Love and Flip Saunders needs to make sure he gets the "best package" possible for him. He thinks Love might end up at the Lakers but the opportunities are pretty all over the place right now. He said if Kevin Love is still on the roster at the start of the next season then he's been "held hostage."

First they talked to Dan McCarney, San Antonio Express, about the Spurs. He talked about Popovich and the team's approach moving forward. Then they flew over to Miami to talk to Brian Rowitz, ESPN 106.3, about the Heat. He compared how he thinks this year's Finals will play out versus last year. Rowitz thinks the Heat have it if LeBron James brings his A game.
Road Trip: College Station & Kansas CityTonight the B-Straw & Pauly G Show Road Trip traveled to College Station and Kansas City tonight. First in College Station they talked to Billy Lucci, TexAgs.com, about the two players dismissed off the Aggie football team. He explained where that leaves the team and how much of a loss it was. Then they flew over to Kansas City to talk to Danny Parkins, 610 Sports Radio Kansas City, about Alex Smith and the Chiefs. Parkins discussed the situation with Alex Smith's contract and how that is impacting the team.
Road Trip: Buffalo & HoustonTonight the B-Straw & Pauly G Show Road Trip traveled to Buffalo then back to Houston. In Buffalo they talked to Sal Carpaccio, WGR Buffalo, about the potential sale of the Buffalo Bills. He said the sale would be pretty hard for fans if the team ends up going. Then they came back to Houston to talk to Jose de Jesus Ortiz, Houston Chronicle, about the Astros signing Singleton. He talked about what Singleton brings to the team and who the Astros might bring in next.

Road Trip: TampaTonight the B-Straw & Pauly G Show Road Trip traveled to Tampa. They talked to Justin Pawlowski, 98.7 The Fan, about the Bucs OTAs and expectations. He said he was a little disappointed with the fact that they didn't draft a QB this year, but says they may be waiting for next year's QBs. Pawlowski also commented on Bill O'Brien noting that he is a "Bill Belichick guy" and noted that he hasn't changed his ways in regards to how he deals with the media.
Road Trip: Dallas & BostonTonight the B-Straw & Pauly G Road Trip traveled to Dallas and Boston. First they drove to Dallas to talk to Mike Fisher, 105.3 The Fan, about Sean Lee's injury at the Cowboys OTAs. He discussed the trouble an injury to Lee's ACL could mean for the team as Lee is one of their best defensive players. Next the guys flew to Boston to talk to Chris Villani, WEEI, about Tom Brady versus Peyton Manning as quarterbacks. He also discussed Ryan Mallet's role with the Patriots now that it doesn't look like the Texans will make a move for him.
