Toyota Center is one of the largest event venues in Houston. In addition to being the home court for the Houston Rockets NBA team and the home rink for the NHL’s Houston Aeros, this popular venue also features major names in the music industry like Linkin Park and Ozzy Osbourne.

Whether you want to catch an Aeros or Rockets game or see your favorite band in concert, tickets for events at Toyota Center can be purchased at the venue’s box office, which is situated on the La Branch Street side of the arena. Box office hours are: Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturdays (during team seasons), 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturdays (for events during the teams’ off season), 10 a.m. to event conclusion. It is closed on Sundays (open at noon on event days). Public Tours

Fans of basketball, hockey and music alike delight in public tours of The Toyota Center. Backstage tours include an up-close-and-personal look at the arena floor, Lexas Lounge, Rockets Club, courtside suites, and Red & White Wine Bistro. Tours are offered Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Reservations are required. Rates: Adults, $7; Children 12 and under and Seniors 65 and up, $5; Groups of 20 or more receive a special discount. For more information on Backstage Tours, visit the website’s Tours page. Getting There

The Toyota Center is located on Polk Street, in the heart of downtown Houston. Driving directions to The Toyota Center can be found on the venue’s Directions & Parking Web page, whether you’re coming from the north or south via Route 59 or I-45 or from the east or west via I-10.

Alternative Transportation Options: Another option is to take the Houston METRORail, which proudly serves The Toyota Center and carries up to 400 passengers per trip. For more information on METRO routes, schedules and prices, call (713) 635-4000 or visit http://www.ridemetro.org.

Accessible parking can be found in the Toyota Tundra parking garage, on the first and third levels, as well as on independent surface lots surrounding the venue. Box Office Parking: When you need to purchase tickets to upcoming events at The Toyota Center, there is no need to pay for parking. Free parking is available that is convenient to the box office windows on LaBranch Street. You may park curbside, directly in front of the box office, for up to 20 minutes at a time daily, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. You may also park in the Toyota Tundra parking garage, adjacent to the venue, for up to 30 minutes at a time daily, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. If you park in the garage, you will need to ask the box office attendant for a validation sticker when you buy your ticket.
