The Houston Texans made a bold move on Thursday night trading up to the 12th pick from the 25th pick in the NFL draft to take quarterback Deshaun Watson from Clemson.  After the pick, a number of Texans players took to twitter to share their thoughts.

Former Tiger WR, DeAndre Hopkins showed his excitement for Watson coming to Houston.

Hopkins had said last week that he thinks the National Champion would like to be throwing balls his way this year.

J.J. Watt welcomed the guy he’ll be chasing a bit in training camp and at practice simply.

Another defensive star Whiteny Mercilus welcomed him in as well (with a bit of a paid promotion)

Corner Back Kareem Jackson was as shocked as many of the fans it would seem.

One man protecting Watson when he sees time under center also welcomed Watson to Houston.

Defensive end Jadeveon Clowney the same message.

We’ll be hearing a lot more from the players as they report to minicamps and training camp.
