HOUSTON (CBS HOUSTON) – The Houston Texans will play in four nationally televised games during the 2017 season with their first coming in Week 2 when they face the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2 for Thursday Night Football.

The news was first reported by John McClain.

The Texans will host the Kansas City Chiefs for Sunday Night Football on November 27th. Their third prime time game is a trip to Baltimore to face the Ravens on Monday Night Football on November 27.  The final nationally televised game will be held on Christmas Day, Saturday, December 25 when the Texans host the Pittsburgh Steelers.

In 2016 the Texans played in five nationally televised games. They had wins over Indianapolis (Sunday Night), and Cincinnati (Saturday Night) with losses to New England (Thursday Night), Denver (Monday Night) and Oakland (Monday Night).

The NFL will announce the full league wide schedule at 7 pm central time.
