For New Year’s Eve this year, check out the party at Midtown Drinkery. You probably already know that Midtown is hopping after dark, but for just $20.17 per person, you can enjoy a fully stocked bar, DJ and fun all night long on New Year’s Eve. If you purchase tickets early on line, the promo price drops to $7.95. As with any bar event, you must be 21 to attend, and if you want to bring all your friends, group rates are available. For more information about group rates, you will need to submit an information request form to get a specific quote based on your group’s size.

Buy the Glass Wine Bar and Lounge

Price: $35 to $45

If you prefer wine to hard liquors, head just to the north of town to the newly opened Buy the Glass Wine Bar and Lounge. For just $35 for tickets bought online or just $45 at the door, you get the chance to go around the world by tasting 18 different wines from 6 countries. Dinner and a champagne toast at midnight are also included in the price. There will also be live music for entertainment starting at 9 p.m., and dinner will begin being served at 8:30 p.m. You’ll get a night of fun and education while you ring in the new year in style.

Price: $45 to $100

The MKT Bar at Phoenicia will be rocking on New Year’s Eve this year. It will be hosting a Global Dance Party featuring DJ Sun. General admission tickets are $45 presale when purchased online, and they cost $55 at the door. With this you get a champagne toast at midnight, international foods that have made Phoenicia well-known, and other surprises throughout the evening. If you want to upscale your admission, VIP tickets cost $100 per person and include bottle service, table reservations, appetizers and party favors.

For 26 years, McGonigel’s Mucky Duck has been the spot for music, food and drinking, and this New Year’s Eve, you can enjoy all three of these with the New Year’s Eve dinner dance. Though typically a more laid back pub, for New Year’s Eve, McGonigel’s has pulled out all the stops for a more upscale four-course dinner at 7 p.m. and music from Jimmy LaFave. Tickets are $95 per person in advance, and $100 at the door. You’ll also get party favors to make the night more fun.

The Concert Pub’s north location has nightly music, but this New Year’s Eve, you can visit for tribute bands to 1980’s favorites Journey and Heart. Tickets range from $15 for general admission to $120 for a reserved table for 4. Everyone gets party favors, a balloon drop and champagne toast at midnight. If you want to ring in the new year with music that takes you back in time at a laid back pub, The Concert Pub should be your destination this December 31.
