Houston (CBS HOUSTON) – The Houston Rockets have traded Donatas Motiejunas and Marcus Thornton to the Detroit Pistons according to Yahoo’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Montiejunas missed the second half of last year and most 2015-2016 season so far recovering from injury and with the team’s D-League squad in Rio Grande Valley. Montiejunas played in only 14 games for the Rockets this season.
The Rockets will reportedly receive center Joel Anthony and a protected 2016 first-round pick.
UPDATE: The Rockets will reportedly send Anthony and a second round pick to Philadelphia as part of this trade as well.
