HOUSTON (CBS HOUSTON) – J.J. Watt revealed Sunday he is scheduled to have surgery on his injured groin on Tuesday.

“We’ll get it diagnosed tomorrow but I’ll have surgery on Tuesday,” Watt said after a comment about he wasn’t sure what exactly was the issue.

He said he was feeling “not so hot” but that he would “get it taken care of and I’ll be fine.”

Watt has been on the injury report since before the Buffalo game with the groin injury and said today he’s been dealing with the injury for six to seven weeks. Tremendous credit is due to the training staff for getting him ready per Watt.

Yesterday though was the “breaking point.”

Well, if it is broke, whatever it is, now comes for the fixing this week.

“I know for a fact we’ve got to fix something,” Watt said with a chuckle and a grin.
