Orchard Park, NY (CBS HOUSTON) – The Houston Texans were without starting right guard Brandon Brooks in their 30-21 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Brooks felt ill and left in an ambulance when the team arrived at Ralph Wilson Stadium Sunday morning.
Brooks stayed in the hospital overnight while his team flew back to Houston after the loss to get ready for the New England Patriots on Sunday Night.
Monday morning Brooks tweeted a thank you to fans and said he will be released from the hospital soon.
Brooks will be back with the team, presumedly, on Wednesday if not Monday when he lands back in Houston. Tuesday is an off day for the players.
