HOUSTON (CBS HOUSTON) – Based on the way Bill O’Brien handled questions about Tuesday’s 2 pm trade deadline, the Texans probably aren’t very active.

O’Brien wouldn’t go into specifics when pressed on if the team was planning to add a running back but noted they are always looking to make sure the roster is the best it can be.

When asked again about the deadline and how he and Smith approach it O’Brien said. “I’m concentrated on coaching the football team” and “I’m trying to get with our coaches and our football team and see if we can get ourselves ready to play the Cincinnati Bengals.”

When asked if he made a trade how difficult is it to acclimate that player O’Brien said “I don’t really see that coming.”
