HOUSTON (CBS HOUSTON) – Arian Foster will play his third game of the season this weekend as the Texans travel to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars.

The body is holding up fine for the Texans star running back.

“Sometimes you might feel a little something. Sometimes you don’t. It’s just getting over that mental hurdle.”

Foster isn’t holding back anymore though.

“Now I’m at the point that if (the groin) is going to re-tear it’s going to re-tear so I’m just going full go.”

Foster mentioned his doctors are confident in the work they did and that “I don’t think we’re going to have any problems” with the injury.

The Texans will need Foster against the Jaguars, who also at 1-4 like the Texans, are looking to right the ship. He knows the challenges the Jaguars present.

He mentioned they were similar to the Falcons in their defensive approach with a lot of zone looks. He praised Jaguars linebacker Paul Posluszny, who Foster noted is questionable to play, as well as the rest of the Jaguars defense.

“They’ve always had a stout defense and a very stout front seven. They’ve always given us fits. It’s going to be tough.”
