HOUSTON (CBS HOUSTON) – It has been a disappointing season thus far for the 2015 Houston Texans. With a 1-4 record after Thursday’s loss to the division rival Indianapolis Colts.

On Sunday, football was an afterthought for Houston sports fans as the Houston Astros slid past the Kansas City Royals 4-2 to take a 2-1 lead in the American League Division Series and are now a win away from a trip to the American League Championship Series.

SportsRadio 610’s John McClain tweeted the following during Houston’s game three victory.

Later Sunday evening Texans linebacker Whitney Mercilus retweeted McClain’s Astros praise/Texans criticism as seen in the screenshot below.

Mercilus did undo the retweet of McClain’s comments within the hour of the retweet.

The Texans will play at Jacksonville on Sunday looking to break a two-game losing streak.
