Earlier this week, the Texans cut kicker Randy Bullock. It wasn’t a surprising move. He was inconsistent his whole career with the Texans. And he made history – the bad way – when he missed the 37 yard extra point in NFL history. And then missed another one last week. And a field goal. Yikes.
Still, give the guy credit. Bullock didn’t even play in 2012 and was awful for half of 2013. Yet just like Pete Miller, he somehow found a way to carve out a 3.0625 year NFL career, earning nearly $1.5 million along the way.
Bullock’s time with the Texans got me thinking . . . what jobs are easier than that of an NFL kicker?
