Atlanta (CBS HOUSTON) – The Houston Texans lost Arian Foster early in training camp with a torn groin muscle.  Foster had surgery immediately to help repair the damage and was expected out six to eight weeks.  Foster has been practicing for about two weeks now and could see time Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons in just week 4 of the season.

The Texans offense has struggled without Foster in the backfield.  Alfred Blue had a breakout game against the young Tampa Bay Buccaneers, rushing for 131 yards and a touchdown.  Expect Blue to still spell Foster if Foster does see the field.

If Foster can play it will be behind the closest thing the Texans have seen to a full offensive line this season.  All-Pro left tackle Duane Brown is expected to be back from injury, as is starting right guard Brandon Brooks, who left last week’s game with an injured ankle.
