HOUSTON (CBS HOUSTON) – Texans top wideout DeAndre Hopkins did not practice on Wednesday  due to a concussion according to the Texans injury report.

Hopkins is the latest offensive player to go down with an injury in the first two weeks of the season. Starting left tackle Duane Brown did not play in the Texans loss Sunday versus Carolina with a injured thumb. Running back Arian Foster has missed the first two weeks a he recovers from his groin surgery.

Brown did not practice again on Wednesday and could be a game time decision when the Texans host Tampa Bay this Sunday.

Foster did participate in practice on Wednesday, but was limited. Head coach Bill O’Brien said it would be unlikely he would return this Sunday but indicated that he would be back, “sooner rather than later.” O’Brien does like the improvement Foster has made health wise

“He’s really looking good at practice,” O’Brien said. “I like the way he looks. He looks like he’s in good shape and feels better.”

Left guard Xavier Sua-Filo was also a limited participant in practice on Wednesday. He has yet to play in a game this season after suffering a calf/ankle injury during the preseason.

The Texans were also without reserve running back Jonathan Grimes at practice today. He injured his knee versus the Panthers.
