CBS Houston – The past two games of the best of seven series the Clippers have come out on fire after halftime really taking it to the Rockets outscoring them in game three and four in the second half 123-83.

“There making a lot of shots, there making a lot of tough shots” Corey Brewer said.

The common factor in second half of the past two games has been J. J. Redick and Austin Rivers have been knocking down jump shots. The two (Redick and Rivers) in the third quarter alone in the past two games have destroyed the Rockets making 70% of their shots.

The Rockets have went in to the locker room at the half in both games with things still very much in reach, but just haven’t been able to match the Clippers energy after the half.

“Gotta have more focus when we come out of halftime” Brewer said “feel like we were only down six last game, came out you looked up it’s 20 points in like four minutes.”

“For us we have to be focused and play 48 minutes as hard as we can” Brewer said.

There is no more cushion anymore, lose and the Rockets can start vacations. The good news the Rockets have not lost three games in a row at all this season and it’s hard to picture the Rockets will play that badly at home on their home court.
