HOUSTON (CBS HOUSTON) – There will now be three Houston Rockets at this weekend’s All-Star festivities.

Kostas Papanikolaou is headed to the NBA’s Rising Stars Challenge, replacing the injured Kelly Olynyk of the Boston Celtics.

The Rising Stars Challenge is a showcase featuring first- and second-year players of the U.S. against the world. It takes place Friday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Papanikolaou is averaging 4.7 points, two rebounds, and 2.1 assists in 39 games in his rookie season. James Harden will start for the Western Conference in the actual All-Star Game and will also take part in the three-point contest and the NBA fashion contest. Pat Beverley will be participating in the Skills Challenge during All-Star Weekend.
