(CBS HOUSTON) – James Harden will be starting in the All-Star Game. And so will Klay Thompson.

Steve Kerr announced Wednesday night that the Western Conference will feature a three-guard starting lineup in the wake of injuries that knocked out both Kobe Bryant and Blake Griffin.

There had been some debate whether Harden or Thompson would get the start for Bryant. Harden leads the league in scoring, but Thompson plays for Kerr’s Golden State Warriors.

It turns out there was no need for such debate.
