HOUSTON (CBS HOUSTON) – Craig Biggio’s party isn’t stopping just yet.

The Astros are hosting a Friday celebration at Minute Maid Park to honor their first ever Hall of Famer. Biggio received the necessary votes this past Monday to enter Cooperstown. After a press conference in Houston on Monday, he flew to New York for a press conference Tuesday before helping to read the Top Ten on that night’s David Letterman Show.

On Friday, Biggio will be back in Houston for the celebration, which also features Astros’ executives Reid Ryan and Nolan Ryan.

The free event begins at five in the Union Station Lobby. Doors to that lobby open at four o’clock. Free parking is available in Astros’ lots A, B, and C starting at two o’clock. At three o’clock, doors open to the atrium and team store.

Limited space is available, but there is overflow seating available in sections 105-109.
