Minneapolis, MN (CBS HOUSTON) : The NFL Players Association has filed a lawsuit to challenge an arbitrator’s ruling against Adrian Peterson, ESPN’s Chris Mortenson reported Monday.
The lawsuit, which will be heard by US District Court in Minneapolis, is looking to overturn the NFL’s decision to suspend Adrian Peterson until at least April of 2015.
Peterson pled no contest last month to a misdemeanor reckless assault charge after injuring his 4-year-old son in May while disciplining the boy with a wooden switch.
