Bryant doesn't feel the same way about Dwight Howard as Kevin Durant didBy Cody Stoots

Houston (CBS Houston) – Kobe Bryant gets caught up in the moment sometimes, and he might even say some choice words, but he doesn’t think Dwight Howard is a p—y.

“No, I don’t feel that way,” Bryant responded when he was asked if he felt the same way about Dwight Howard that Kevin Durant feels about the Houston big man.

Durant reportedly yelled at Howard from the bench last week when the Rockets played in Oklahoma City.

“I don’t think Kevin does, either,” Bryant added.

Choice wording during trash-talking is a part of the game according to Bryant.

“In moments of confrontation during a game, you’ll say things in the heat of the moment.”

“I know Dwight. I’m sure Kevin does. We don’t really feel that way about him. It’s like when you get in an argument with somebody, you’ll say things out of frustration, out of anger, that you don’t really mean.”

Bryant would add things are said in the “heat of the battle-heat of the moment.”

Bryant also allegedly had some choice words for Dwight Howard the first time these two teams met this year. Howard didn’t play last night.

“You guys have all been in arguments. You guys that are married. You know how that goes. Sometimes you say things that you want to take back, you don’t really mean.”

Think before you speak doesn’t cross Bryant’s mind.

“Well, in the moment, no,” Bryant said with a chuckle when asked if he knew people might hear some of the things he says on the court. “In hindsight, yes. Especially now with social media and everybody has a camera. You try to be as conscious as possible to the fact that kids are watching.”

“You try to be as conscious as possible to the fact that that kids are watching and things like that, but it’s hard.”
