HOUSTON (CBS-Houston) – This is the moment for which America and the college football world has been waiting. Any one who has watched the game of college football for any length of time has wondered why there has never been a playoff. Well, college football finally has a playoff and a 12-person committee that will oversee every element of the playoff system. One such esteemed member of the new playoff committee is former West Virginia QB and current WV Athletic Director, Oliver Luck. He shares what he believes will come from the College Football Playoff Committee.

Meanwhile, we discuss the great college football weekend that was and what could be as Ole Miss will travel to Baton Rouge for a face-to-face meeting with a desperate LSU team at Death Valley. No. 1 Mississippi State travels to Kentucky. Also, Brett was correct in many thoughts he had going into the weekend while I, unfortunately, had to admit that he was right.

Finally, we talk with former NFL and San Diego State QB, Kevin O’Connell, who currently works as a CBS Analyst and quarterback coach. One of the young, bright minds in the college game, who also worked with George Whitfield in the development of Johnny Manziel, offers advice to Florida State QB Jameis Winston and the 2015 class of incoming college QB’s.
