Houston (CBS Houston) – According to a report by Fox 26’s Isiah Carey, Adrian Peterson has failed a court mandated drug test.

Court records show while giving his urine sample Wednesday Peterson admitted to a staffer he had ‘smoked a little weed’ before the test. As a result of that, the Montgomery County District Attorney has asked the judge in this case to set aside Peterson’s $15,000 bond and have him arrested again.

The report reads.

Peterson was in court Wednesday for a hearing related to child abuse charges he’s facing. A trial date was set for early December.  He was scheduled to enter his plea yesterday but the state moved for the judge to recuse himself from the case.

Contrary to the above report, the hearing on the judge’s future is not scheduled for tomorrow SportsRadio 610 has learned. A spokesperson for Peterson’s attorney, Rusty Hardin, told SportsRadio 610 the hearing is likely set for next week.

Comments from Mary Flood, the spokesperson for Peterson’s attorney, Rusty Hardin, indicated the request to revoke Peterson’s bond will not be heard until the judge for the case is decided. As she confirmed earlier to SportsRadio 610, the hearing on the future of Judge Case is not tomorrow. The motion to revoke Peterson’s bond can only be dealt with once the judge for the case is determined according to Hardin through Flood.

Peterson currently remains free on bond.
