Houston (CBS Houston) – Domestic violence and Ray Rice has dominated the conversation around the NFL this week. So much so, Roger Goodell sat down with CBS News for an interview on the subject. On Wednesday, Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt offered his thoughts.

“It’s extremely unfortunate. Obviously domestic violence is something that should never be tolerated.” Watt said. “It’s unfortunate and I know we have a zero tolerance policy, which is the way it should be.”

Bill O’Brien has said previously the Texans have a zero tolerance policy. A few other Texans were asked about the situation but declined comment.
