Houston (CBS HOUSTON) – The Houston Texans have brought in a familiar face.  Safety Danieal Manning, who was released earlier this year, is expected to resign with the Houston Texans on Monday pending a physical, ESPN’s Tania Ganguli is reporting.

The eight year veteran signed with Cincinnati after his release from the Texans, but didn’t make the final 53 man roster with the Bengals and the Texans decided Manning would be a good fit.  In a subsequent roster move to make room for manning, safety Chris Clemons has been released.

Manning started all 35 games in his three years in Houston and was a fan favorite before his release.
