HOUSTON (CBS Houston): Texans Wide Receiver Alan Bonner was forced to leave practice early on the first day of training camp with an undisclosed leg injury.

A sixth-round pick a year ago out of Jacksonville State, Bonner was considered a guy with a lot of raw ability and a potential return man, but a hamstring injury landed him on Injured Reserve and he missed all of his rookie season.

Bonner is competing for a job at the back of the Texans WR rotation with Mike Thomas, Keshawn Martin, DeVier Posey, and Alec Lemon behind starters Andre Johnson and DeAndre Hopkins.  He is also competing for a position as a return man.
