Houston (CBS Houston) – After a week which included a fourth consecutive game with a pick six and an incident at Matt Schaub’s house, Gary Kubiak announced definitively on Wednesday that Matt Schaub will start against the Rams.

“It was a tough decision, real tough. But (it) was the best decision going into this game.” Kubiak said.

Rams head coach Jeff Fisher is very familiar with Matt Schaub after facing him for years when he was with the Tennessee Titans.

“Matt is an excellent quarterback. He’s won a lot of games. I personally have faced him many many times and I know what he is capable of doing.” Rams head coach Jeff Fisher said Wednesday.

Rams quarterback Sam Bradford has had his own struggles with pick sixes this season. He threw a pick six in each of the Rams first two games this year.
