The 4th of July and beer are synonymous as we celebrate our country’s independence from “Jolly Old England” 237 years ago. During that time America has made it a pastime to brew and drink beer. Some high quality, some complete crap.
While I’d like to critique some of America’s crappiest beers, I don’t think I could put it any better than Will Gordon over at Deadspin did. Read up, think about this holiday that celebrates the power of pride and the courage and faith we all share. Let us all salute the spirit of America by drinking quality, hand-crafted beer your Houstonian neighbors put their heart and soul into.
