HOUSTON (CBS Houston) – The Philadelphia Eagles added another former Texan to their roster, the latest being punter Donnie Jones. The Eagles signed Jones to a one-year deal and have released Matt McBriar.
Jones, a two-time All-Pro punter signed a one-year deal with the Texans in 2013 and started every game for Houston last season and finished with a 40.5-yard net average.
Jones now joins the latest ex-Texan-turned-Eagle players James Casey and Connor Barwin.
The news comes just days after the Texans sign Shane Lechler, former Oakland Raider, to a three-year deal reportedly worth $5.5 million.
