HOUSTON (CBS Houston) The Humble Police Department and the FBI are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the man who robbed a Humble bank but left empty handed earlier Friday.
According to officials, the robbery took place just before 2:00 p.m. A man walked into the Chase Bank located at 10011 FM 1960 By-Pass Road West in Humble, inquiring about opening an account. He then handed the teller a note demanding money, but did not receive any, per his demand. There was no weapon seen and no injuries reported.
“The bank robber is described as a heavy-set Black male, approximately 200-300 pounds, 5’4” to 5’5” tall. He was wearing a blue baseball cap, long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans and white and black tennis shoes,” stated officials the FBI, Houston Division.
Anyone with information about this crime is urged to call officials or Crime Stoppers.
