Once an empty metal warehouse, Tiny Boxwood’s is nuzzled against the Thompson & Hanson nursery. It is an over-the-counter cafe, perfect for brunch with the girls or a lunch date. Well-known for its moderately priced brunch, customers love the bottomless mimosas and breakfast pizza. The restaurant offers seating both inside and outside, but it is limited, so get there early to beat the rush.  Brunch is served on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Hungry’s is also another popular champagne brunch location. The restaurant features mimosas and peach bellinis on its moderately priced brunch menu, which is available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. The menu also offers many healthy choices for those who are calorie conscious. Expect a comfortable, welcoming, relaxed environment at Hungry’s. If you’d rather eat at home, Hungry’s offers a special take out and delivery menu.

Bar Annie is a great Sunday brunch location housed in a stunning building on Post Oak Boulevard.  In 2011, Bar Annie’s was named on the Houston’s Best Chefs menu. It is on the moderately priced with a wide variety of items on the brunch menu, including grilled Gulf shrimp served on a banana leaf, buttermilk donuts and poached eggs with beef rib and tortilla hash. Try some sparkling wine by the glass or indulge in a unique seafood cocktail like the Gulf crab cocktail with jicama and avocado sauce. Reservations may be made online or by phone.

Cullen’s is an upscale restaurant located on the edge of Clear Lake. The brunch, which is only served on Sunday, features $3 Mimosas and Bloody Mary’s. The brunch menu is limited, but the food is incredible and prices are reasonable. Sweet tooths will love the crisp malted Belgium waffles with whipped cream and strawberries and meatlovers must try the steak and eggs. When you finish with brunch, you can head next door to Cullen’s Live which features half-price drinks all days on Sundays.

For a different type of brunch experience, try a Sunday brunch with Star Fleet Yachts. This two hour Sunday brunch cruise goes through Clear Lake and Galveston Bay. Complimentary soft drinks, coffee, tea, juice and one mimosa are included with your bottomless brunch buffet all for the price of $69 for adults, $39 for children 3-12 years old. Buffet offerings include eggs benedict, roasted prime rib and chicken topped with crab meat, grilled asparagus and hollandaise sauce. A cash bar is available with beer, wine, cocktails, $3 Bloody Marys and $15 carafes of mimosas.
