Ready to walk hand in hand with your favorite person? Walk your dog? Or maybe get friends together to go for a stroll while you PokemonGo. Whatever the reason, if you are headed out for a walk, one of these five top spots for a nighttime stroll in Houston are sure to please.

Located in Houston’s popular dining and shopping Galleria, The Gerald D. Hines Waterwall Park is one of Houston’s top spots to stroll during day or night. The park is free and open for walking through from 10 am to 10 p.m. the Water Wall is uniquely Houston 64 stories tall which sparkles as 11,000 gallons of water spill over and are re-circulated across the “walls’ semi circular surface.

Live performances, artists, and if you want to learn more about the history and culture there are even audio walking tours. Hiking, biking, a Bat Colony, skate park and children’s play area are also some of the highlights of these walking trails. You can even rent a boat. Be sure you check the hours, especially if you plan on stopping in the Lost Lake Visitor Center. Lighted areas are open Monday thru Sunday 6 am to 11 pm and all other areas dawn to dusk.
