This summer, cool off with several adult beverages. These recipes were kindly provided by Jasmine Lee Richardson of The Flat, which is a bar and dance spot in Montrose. You can visit The Flat to see Houston’s own DJSUN, who has won awards and is renowned as the best of the best in Houston, or to enjoy the drinks on the extensive drink menu. Or if you want something more relaxing on a hot Houston day, take out the patio furniture, mix up one of these cool, refreshing vodka cocktails and enjoy the summer sun at your own home.

Jasmine Lee Richardson is the manager of The Flat. While many of the drinks on the menu at The Flat are rum-based or inspired, Jasmine Lee Richardson has graciously offered several vodka cocktails for this summer. After nine years of operation, The Flat continues to make a strong showing on the bar and dance scene in Houston. If you cannot make it to The Flat, try some of these vodka cocktails recipes from the manager. You can cool off with these fruity and flavorful drinks in the comfort of your own home.
