Defense Control Redskins Lead Texans To 17-6 Win In Season Opener

The Houston Texans started their 2014 NFL season off on a positive note for first time head coach Bill O’Brien. A 17-6 win over the Washington Redskins gives the Texans half the amount of wins they finished with last year when they had a league worst 2-14 record. The win was not without it’s blemishes. Texans first round draft pick Jadeveon Clowney left the game early with a knee injury and didn’t return.
