Tonight the B-Straw & Pauly G Show Road Trip traveled to Miami. Brian Rowitz, ESPN 106.3 FM, came on to discuss the Heat and Spurs NBA Finals series in progress. He talked about how much better Game 2 went for LeBron than Game 1. Rowitz said Heat fans are feeling very confident heading into tomorrow’s game because they feel overall the Heat has out performed the Spurs. The Spurs just seem unable to fully answer LeBron James on the court.

Road Trip: San Antonio

Tonight the B-Straw & Pauly G Show Road Trip traveled to San Antonio tonight. Ari Tempkin, ESPN 1250, joined them to discuss the Spurs beating the Heat in Game One of the series. Tempkin said that the air conditioning definitely impacted the game but it’s hard to say how much credit that should get for the win. He thinks Danny Green’s performance is one of the big things playing wise that is an important take away from the game. He described how uncomfortable it was last night at the game when the air conditioner was out. He thinks LeBron will come out much better in Game Two so the Spurs will really have to stay on their game.

Tonight the B-Straw & Pauly G Show traveled to San Antonio and Miami in a NBA Finals edition of the Road Trip. First they talked to Dan McCarney, San Antonio Express, about the Spurs. He talked about Popovich and the team’s approach moving forward. Then they flew over to Miami to talk to Brian Rowitz, ESPN 106.3, about the Heat. He compared how he thinks this year’s Finals will play out versus last year. Rowitz thinks the Heat have it if LeBron James brings his A game.

He talked about how Serge Ibaka being out will impact the Thunder in this series. Tempkin also talked about that he thought the Texans might have traded back into the first round to go after Teddy Bridgewater but time will tell if it was the right choice not to.

First up on the B-Straw and Pauly G Show Road Trip was Zach Berman, Philadelphia Enquirer, about Chip Kelly’s interest in Johnny Manziel as well as the DeSean Jackson situation. Then they got back on the road to San Antonio to talk to Ari Tempkin, 1250 ESPN, about the Spurs and Mavericks series. Tempkin discussed the fact that the Spurs really need to get their defense back in the game to reclaim their series.
