A female training instructor at a Texas Air Force base has been ordered to serve three months in jail after pleading guilty to having sex with a male student.
The U.S. Air Force announced Wednesday that it is changing how it selects officers and instructors who train new recruits after a sex scandal at its training headquarters in which dozens of female recruits said they were improperly approached, sexually harassed or raped by male instructors.
A military jury on Wednesday found a Texas Air Force basic training instructor guilty of two of four charges arising from a sex scandal surrounding instructors at the base.
Texans backup receiver Bryant Johnson, a ninth-year veteran, played college football for Joe Paterno at Penn State.
