Ryan Fitzpatrick ran with the 1s, Case Keenum with the 2s and Tom Savage took whatever was left. The quarterback rotation was on Monday how it’s been throughout Houston Texans training camp. Head coach Bill O’Brien […]
Over a 10-year NFL career with stops in St. Louis, Cincinnati, Buffalo and Tennessee, Ryan Fitzpatrick has come to know a thing or two about losing. After his Houston Texans’ 32-0 hammering by the Arizona Cardinals last […]
It wasn’t pretty for Ryan Fitzpatrick in his Houston Texans preseason debut tonight, a point made by more than his stat line. Head coach Bill O’Brien said before their exhibition opener against the Arizona Cardinals that […]

Gregg Rosenthal joined Matt Hammond and Matt Murphy filling in on The B-Straw & Pauly G Show. He said that the Texans are doing their best to keep details under wrap with the Andre Johnson situation. Rosenthal thinks Johnson is probably upset about several things that we don’t really know about at this point. He thinks due to his high salary, Johnson will not be a Texan after this season. He also weighed in on the Ray Rice suspension and the looming punishment for Jim Irsay.
Hub Arkush, chicagofootball.com, joined MaD Radio to talk all things NFL. He feels that it really doesn’t matter where the NFL draft is so it really doesn’t matter if they move where they hold it. Arkush is confused by Andre Johnson’s recent behavior and really cannot see him going elsewhere so it should get resolved. He thinks that the best case scenario when it comes to Fitzpatrick is that he somehow becomes a much better quarterback than he has been so far. He really thought Fitzpatrick was just being brought on as a backup and the quarterback situation is the only problem he has with the way the team is right now. He thinks Bill O’Brien is the right guy to coach the Texans but he isn’t sure if he has enough to work with to turn the team around. Arkush thinks Johnny Manziel has a tough road ahead of him at quarterback but that he will be fun to watch.
