The Houston Texans have until 5:00pm CT today to get their official roster for the regular season set. From 75 players down to 53 the Texans will be making cuts all day.
The 8-24 Astros may not have played on Monday, but the organization made some roster moves after being outscored 37-8 in their series against the Detroit Tigers over the weekend.
Texans General Manager Rick Smith has had to juggle the roster a bit this week. Because of Kevin Walter’s injury, David Anderson has been signed to bolster the wide receiver group.
The Texans are waiving cornerback Antwaun Molden, safety Antonio Baker, punter Brett Hartmann, safety Maurice Rolle, cornerback Jason Teague, linebacker Matt Marcorelle, guard Darius Morris and receiver Paul Williams.
