No matter who has the edge Sunday, it seems the nation is rooting for Manning, because it’s been harder for him to win, because he’s not so pretty, because he’s considered one of us, because you get the sense that his aw-shucks, southern refrain is real.

Tom Nalen, ESPN Denver, joined Ted and Paul to talk about all things football. He talked about Peyton Manning and what it will do to his legacy if he loses this week’s game. He thinks Manning is the best QB of all time. Nalen talked about how Champ Bailey has been performing.
Kerry Byrne, Cold Hard Football Facts, joined Ted and Paul to talk about the NFL playoff games this weekend. He talked about Tom Brady’s very impressive stats and though Peyton Manning is close he is not quite there. Byrne predicted how Belichick is going to play it going against Denver this weekend. He also looked at the stats in the 49ers vs Seahawks game including Russell Wilson compared to Colin Kaepernick.
The good news: either Manning or Brady will get to go to another Super Bowl. The bad news: one of them will not, and be denied adding more to his legacy yet again.
