Orlando Alzugaray, 640 Sports Miami, joined The B-Straw & Pauly G Show to discuss NBA free agency and the Heat. He started out discussing the meeting between LeBron and Riley today in Vegas and his thought on Riley’s best approach to LeBron. He said that Miami has the clear advantage over Cleveland in the quest for LeBron in multiple ways from location to a level of class they are known for. Alzugaray said the winning component for teams is battle tested veteran players, not young guys. He said if LeBron leaves Miami, he can see Chris Bosh coming to play for the Rockets because he won’t stay on without LeBron. Alzugaray says LeBron is the big domino and he will set off a long chain of events once he has made his decision. He thinks LeBron will make his decision in the next 48 hours.
Ken Berger, CBSsports.com, joined The B-Straw & Pauly G Show to discuss NBA Free Agency. He said this is a very strange free agency period because usually by now the big guys have made their moves whereas this time the biggest players are still up in the air. He talked about LeBron’s best options and what might happen with them. Berger says LeBron is handling free agency the right way letting his agent talk to people and handle the business but he wishes he would speed up the process a little bit.
Brian Geltzeiler, hoopscritic.com, joined The Triple Threat to discuss NBA Free Agency. He discussed the probability of a sign and trade of Chris Bosh to Houston. He thinks if Houston can get Bosh and keep Chandler Parsons, they would definitely be a big contender. Geltzeiler thinks a lot of the rumors about LeBron to Cleveland could be misdirects leaked on purpose when he really intends to stay with Miami. He thinks Rockets are in a very tricky situation with Chandler Parsons while they try to go after a superstar and keep him at the same time. He also briefly commented on player and management issues that seem likely at some point.

Orlando Alzugaray, 640 Sports Miami, joined The B-Straw & Pauly G Show on the Road Trip to talk about NBA free agency. He says LeBron James really is in control right now and a lot depends on what he chooses and that will have a big impact on the Big 3. He says Kyle Lowry is a huge target in free agency for teams. Alzugaray doesn’t think LeBron James has any reason to go anywhere.
