Lone Star Shooting
On Monday, charges against the man first identified as the shooting suspect in the Lone Star shooting rampage were dropped. Twenty-two-year-old Carlton Berry had been charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
The suspected gunman in the Lone Star College’s North Harris campus shooting was arrested in Plano by the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force. Friday’s arrest marks the second in the Lone Star College shooting incident.
As one of the panelists during Thursday’s Town Hall meeting addressing school safety, San Jacinto College North President, Dr. Allatia Harris sat with an open mind and offered encouragement to audience members.
