Tonight the B-Straw & Pauly G Show Road Trip traveled to Louisville and Cleveland. First they flew to Louisville to talk to Jason Sobel of the Golf Channel about the PGA Championship. He discussed Rory McIlroy as a player and a person. He thinks it is a good sign for golf that even without Tiger Woods involved, it was still a very interesting competition. Then they traveled over to Cleveland to talk to Daryl Ruiter, 92.3 The Fan, about Johnny Manziel’s debut game. He discussed how the coach and the fans are reacting to the way Manziel played on his first outing. Ruiter said the competition between Brian Hoyer and Manziel seems to be pretty friendly as all the players want the best quarterback on the field playing for them.

Hub Arkush, chicagofootball.com, joined MaD Radio to talk all things NFL. He feels that it really doesn’t matter where the NFL draft is so it really doesn’t matter if they move where they hold it. Arkush is confused by Andre Johnson’s recent behavior and really cannot see him going elsewhere so it should get resolved. He thinks that the best case scenario when it comes to Fitzpatrick is that he somehow becomes a much better quarterback than he has been so far. He really thought Fitzpatrick was just being brought on as a backup and the quarterback situation is the only problem he has with the way the team is right now. He thinks Bill O’Brien is the right guy to coach the Texans but he isn’t sure if he has enough to work with to turn the team around. Arkush thinks Johnny Manziel has a tough road ahead of him at quarterback but that he will be fun to watch.
