Mark Long, Associated Press, joined The B-Straw & Pauly G Show to talk about the Jaguars. He talked about how the Jags duped everyone into thinking they wouldn’t take a QB first round and then turned around and snapped up Blake Bortles. He doesn’t think Bortles will win the starting QB role right away but thinks he’ll be starting by the time the Jags play the Texans. Long isn’t too hot on the Jags defense though he thinks they are making good efforts to improve it “at least on paper.”

He noted that the media focuses more on homophobia towards Michael Sam than arrests of players who allegedly assault their girlfriends.
