The Houston Astros are delaying their future a bit longer by sending some of their top prospects back to Minor League Camp.
The Houston Astros announced their Spring Training non-roster invitees recently, and while the team has invited nearly all of their high draft picks from the past few years, 24 year old George Springer highlights the list. Springer who was selected by the Astros in 2011 with the 11th pick said “it’s an honor” when asked about making Spring Training this season. The consensus is that Springer has the best chance to make the lineup out of camp.
