Jadeveon Clowney flashed his potential as the Texans defense shined early on Saturday night. Behind an improved offensive effort, the Texans picked up their first win of the preseason 32-7 over the Atlanta Falcons.
Romeo Crennel’s group forced a quick three and out on the Falcons first drive, followed by a 14-yard kick return by Keshawn Martin. The offense failed to capitalize though, going three and out themselves, leading to boos on the Texans first drive of their preseason home opener.
The Texans ‘Big Three’ will be out against Atlanta.

Tonight The B-Straw & Pauly G Show Road Trip traveled to Atlanta. They spoke to Orlando Ledbetter, AJC, about TJ Yates getting traded to the Falcons in exchange for Akeem Dent. He said that they think Yates will be a solid backup QB for the team after Matt Ryan. Ledbetter discussed how the Falcons came to be the team picked for Hard Knocks this season because the owner wanted them to be. He says the defense isn’t looking that great heading into the season and some fans are upset the Falcons didn’t try to trade the Texans for Clowney.
