Former Texan Nick Ferguson joined The B-Straw & Pauly G show to talk football. Ferguson discussed his experiences playing Peyton Manning and warned that Manning is always watching what’s going on around him. He said that Ryan Fitzpatrick can make some good plays but he needs to do more than that to be a really good quarterback in the league. He said that having Watt and Clowney helps the Texans a lot, but they need more than that to win games. He thinks that DJ Swearinger needs to cut down on his smack talk and show more on the field. Ferguson thinks O’Brien will “right the ship” though it may not mean they’ll get to the Super Bowl in the next year or two.
