He talked about how Dirk Nowitzki will likely take a pay cut to stay with the Mavs as they make a move at Carmelo Anthony. Choppy said they are also pursuing guys like Luol Deng. He briefly discussed the Cowboys signing Rolando McClain. He also said the Cowboys will always be run the way Jerry Jones wants it to be as long as Jerry Jones is around. Then Mark Grote 670 The Score in Chicago came on to discuss Carmelo Anthony’s visit to the Bulls. He said getting Carmelo Anthony would make the Bulls good enough to beat the Heat if Derrick Rose is healthy.
Mark Grote of WSCR joined The B-Straw and Pauly G Show to discuss LeBron opting out today. Grote doesn’t think the Bulls would be able to make it work for LeBron to come to the team. He also discussed how Derrick Rose’s injury is healing up. He said that the talk is all optimistic for Rose to come back but it’ll be hard to tell until he is really back.
Jordan Bernfield, WGN Radio, joined The B-Straw & Pauly G Show Road Trip in Chicago. He weighed in on the health of Derrick Rose and the Bulls in general. Bernfield says everyone is working off the belief that Rose will be fine to go and back to full strength. He thinks Carmelo Anthony is looking to win a championship which makes Chicago a strong contender if Rose is there healthy. He says the Bulls are really looking to bring a big star to the team to help them win.
