Kainer grew up with congenital kidney disease and needed a kidney transplant, which he received from his father. The film details his experiences and the way he overcame health difficulties to be the first to play minor league baseball after a transplant. Mike Fisher, 105.3 The Fan, joined The B-Straw & Pauly G Show to discuss the news in the Dallas area. Fisher discussed the huge disappointment of the situation with Rondo and how he has messed things up for the Mavs. He said Mavs fans have unrealistic expectations that their team will always make it to the playoffs. Fisher discussed the management of the Mavs and the Cowboys. He weighed in on the Greg Hardy situation as well.
Dave Dameshek, NFL Network, joined the B-Straw & Pauly G show to talk Texans and football. He discussed the quarterback situation as well as the defensive line. Dameshek is very impressed with Arian Foster but not so much Vince Wilfork. He also discussed how the Patriots and the Broncos look going into the coming season. They mixed in a little movie talk as well.
Dane Brugler, CBSsports.com, joined The B-Straw & Pauly G Show to discuss his in depth draft guide. Brugler spent a bit of time on good and bad picks in past drafts then discussed this year’s up coming draft. He discussed the possibility of the Texans going with the best player available to them in the draft. Brugler doesn’t see a quarterback in this draft class that can be a long term starter for the Texans or any other team.
